What's new about the Artist
The International Association of Pastel Societies elected Dianna to their Master's Circle in June of 2007

She has once again been recognized on a global level with her pastel "Stitch in Time" receiving first place honors with "Day Dreamer" taking an honorable mention in the International Association of Pastel Societies' 2006 exhibition.

2005-2007 elected national President of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
In 2005 Dianna became one of only 4 artists thus far awarded the distinction of Master Pastellist by the Pastel Artists of Canada and the first artist to be honored to be both a Premier and a Master Pastellist of Canada
The International Association of Pastel Societies has chosen Dianna's painting titled "Orange Bowl" for the cover art on it's 2005 convention catalogue. The same painting received the Award of Excellence in the Federation of Canadian Artist's Medal Show
Issue # 38 of the International Artist Magazine carries a feature article complete with "how to" instructions on Dianna's pastel work,
The painting titled "Girl Untitled" has been selected for entry into this year's "Pastel Only" 2004 exhibition, New York.
Dianna's piece entitled "Fresh Grapes and Aged Wine" won the Jim Lynch Gold Pastel Pallet Award in the 30th Annual Open Juried Exhibition for "Pastels Only" held by the Pastel Society of America in New York City. .
This
same piece previously named "Shades of Aubergine" (artists are temperamental)
was
awarded the Spilsbury Silver Medal Award
and the Alessandra Bitelli
Award in the Federation of Canadian Artist's 2002 National Medal
Show.

The work entitled
"Textures" was awarded the Herman
Magulies award for Excellence for
the silver position in
the 2003 "Pastels Only" international show in New York.
