What's new about the Artist
In February of 2004 Dianna was elected to Signature Status in the Pastel Society of America.
Dianna had the privilege of jurying for the Federation of Canadian Artists' 2003 Medal Show.
In March
of 2003, Dianna had the honor of being designated S.F.C.A . or Senior
member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. This
coveted signature standing places her in the company of only 60 other
great international artists.
The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), was established in 1941 with
André Bieler as its first president. Other leaders have included Group of
Seven painter, Lawren Harris and one outstanding current SFCA is Robert Bateman.
November of 2002, found Dianna being elevated to the status of P.P.C. - Premier Pastellist of Canada by the Pastel Society of Canada. This is the highest level of acknowledgment in this, Canada's largest and longest standing pastel society.
