Hi Dianna, I really enjoyed the workshop in San Clemente...actually it was an epiphany.  I finished the grapes and my secret garden, put them in the gallery and sold them the next day.

Just a note to let you know I really enjoyed the workshop.  Your studio is fabulous, and your teaching style almost guarantees success...  I'm quite proud of my first effort at pastels.  I'm already looking forward to the April Workshop!

 I just wanted to let you know how grateful to you I am for the wonderful weekend pastel lessons.

I learned so much,  met such wonderful people, and just had a remarkable time all around!

I am in awe of your skills and creativity, and so happy you are willing to share your talents, time and studio ( not to mention your soup and dining room ) with other eager artists and myself.

I think we all left with a great appreciation for pastels, and bolstered self-esteem, after your teaching revealed skill levels we didn't know were buried within us.

Your workshop was very highly organized which made it such a you from the onset.  Dianna, you are a gracious host, welcoming students into your home studio.  It was pleasing to work in a well lit studio/gallery full of beautiful inspiration, where each student had their own table easel and dedicated space.  You are a giving and very knowledgeable teacher who inspires and instructs her students in a respectful and thoughtful manner.  My own work shows immediate signs of improvement and growth.  I will definitely be working towards returning in the near future for a refresher course!

Your workshop in Prince Rupert was awesome.  You are a very good teacher and I learned so much.  I especially enjoyed meeting and getting to know you.   Sometimes when you meet someone new it is like meeting an old friend.

Hi Dianna

Thank you so much for the enjoyable and worthwhile pastel workshop you facilitated the other weekend,  I liked very much how the class was setup and taught.  As a full time artist, I felt there was great value in taking your pastel workshop and am amazed how reasonably priced a class by someone of your caliber is!!

I came away happy, inspired and looking forward to developing this medium.  Because I love the act of drawing so much, I found this 'drawerly' way of painting very exciting and think this may become my medium of choice.

Again, thanks so much.  It was an honour to learn from you.  I will most certainly let others know about both your workshops and your art.

I just wanted to say thank you for yesterday (and the day before) It was such fun, enjoyable. You are such a wonderful instructor and hostess. It was far better than I ever dreamed it could be. I am very pleased with what I accomplished and what everyone else in the class did besides. In contrast I was in a oil painting course with well known instructor two weeks ago.  I left so deflated, thinking why bother I will never be any good. You are a professional but you made it fun. He is good but he can’t teach. Thanks for sharing.

This is just a brief letter to thank you so very much for the wonderful workshop that you gave our club this past weekend!  You have a such a nice natural way with people and get your ideas across in a way that everyone is having fun while they are learning.  You are very generous with your time and information and everyone there mentioned to me just how good they felt about what they came away with after your course!  Seeing your originals was so very inspiring and it is hard to believe what you accomplish with pastel!  They are amazing.
